Enclomiphene is the trans-isomer of clomiphene citrate. It acts as an estrogen receptor antagonist at the hypothalamic-pituitary level, blocking estrogen's negative feedback and thereby increasing LH and FSH output to stimulate testicular testosterone production. It is not independently FDA-approved for male hypogonadism.
